Saturday March 23rd was an indie all star night at Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas. The event seemed to be focused on the "last match ever" for FSW star Alkatrazz, more on that later. There were some big names at this event. Starting with FSW star Disco Inferno interviewed and welcomed to the active roster Mr. Matt Hardy. During Hardy's interview of back handed compliments from Disco comes out Stu Stone and TNA tag team champion Robbie E ... After some witty talk back and forth Hardy doesn't not accept Stu's offer to join his alliance out of nowhere come Brian Cage pulling Reby Sky by the hair to the ring . Stu and Robbie attempt to jump Matt until Elite Champion Kenny King storms the ring with a small stick. Once the action died down the crowed chanted Tag Team Match .. And it was set for later that night.
Most of the card was a tag team gauntlet style match. Most matches were pretty good a few stars that stood out to me were Tito Escandido. His moves in the ring only complimented his attitude out of the ring with the crowd. Hilarious! A couple of stars that caught my eye were FunnyBone and the Warlord of Weird Sinn Bodhi who some of you may know not only from FSW but TNA and WWE. Their whole team of Carnival Misfits were quiet the team to see coming down to the ring, a big man with clown makeup blowing bubble that had smoke inside was awesome. The Gauntlet matches went on for while but were entertaining. This lead to anothe tag team match with the fan friendly tag champs The Whirlwind Gentlemen vs the Rockness Monsters. The Whirlwind Gentlemen retain the titles.
A few other matches took place a No Limit Champion 4 way match . A singles match all pretty good before the Robbie E, Brian Cage vs Matt Hardy, Kenny King match .
Robbie E and Brian entered first the Kenny King who got a good reaction from the crowd .. The lights went down and kids and adults rushed up to gates to catch a photo or high five from Matt Hardy. After Hardy got into the ring people went nuts for him to throw out his shirt .. This actually went on for while. Until Hardy had the ref throw it out.
The match it self was very good and you could tell Hardy was having a good time. Hardy and King win by of course Matt Hardy using his "twist of fate" basically on everybody!
Now back to Alkatrazz. Before his match FSW but together an interview with Al backstage with explaining that he needs to stop wrestling due to nerve damage in his neck. The crowd was pump and excited to Alkatrazz' last match against FSW champion Tyshaun Prince managed by Sal E. for the title. Alkatrazz came out strong but Tyshaun controlled most of the match. Finally Alkatrazz took over and was able to pin Tyshaun for the win. The crowd went wild for him . 6 other wrestlers all managed by Sal E. came down to the ring .. In a weird twist they jumped Tyshaun Prince. People where in shock. The best was yet to come, Alkatrazz grabbed chair from the crowd and ran back to the ring .. People cheered!! Until the ultimate HEEL TURN!!!!!! Alkatrazz repeatedly hit Tyshaun with the chair while all the other wrestlers took turns stomping and punching TP! Sal E. gets the mic and welcomes Alkatrazz to the family. The crowd is shocked then Alkatrazz turns on the crowd and call the then all idiots.. It was a great way to end the match ...
