STREAK VS RETIREMENT

With WrestleMania 30 just right around the corner it brings up the yearly question, is the streak over?
The Undertaker has been on a winning streak since WrestleMania VII (1991), when he defeated Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. The streak is now 21-0 and it's one IMPRESSIVE streak to say the least. He's defeated top guys from different era's of WWF/E including; Jake ''The Snake" Roberts, King Kong Bundy, Diesel, Kane, Batista, Edge, CM Punk, Shawn Michaels TWO times & Triple H - THREE times. Now, that's only including the ''big" names, i left out a few. Very impressive right? The Deadman has only missed 2 WrestleMania's since 1991 which also adds to the impressiveness of this streak. How many WWF/E wrestlers have that many Mania's under their belt? NONE. Taker's hot streak is one that most WWE fans cant see being broken.

So... Who? WHO?! Could possibly end this streak?

BROCK LESNAR!?

Could Brock Lesnar be the guy to end it this year? Brock Lesnar is one hell of an athlete & performer. We've seen Brock do it all and we've seen Brock put on great performances at WrestleMania. Brock and The Undertaker have met before for those who don't remember. Their feud started in late 2002 and they had a somewhat "personal" feud on their hands when Takers wife was involved. Brock came out on top during their feud and retained his belt. With that being said, Brock is one bad son of a bitch. He's been to hell (in a cell) and he's taken the Last Ride & now he's back for more.

But has he earned the right to end such record? Not many people would agree and say Brock is the one to take it. People thought "Mr. WrestleMania", Shawn Michaels would be the one to end the Deadman's ride. But, WrestleMania 26 proved us all wrong as we saw HBK leave the WWE defeated by Taker once again. Triple H of all people couldn't end Takers streak. The guy who's taking over the WWE throne behind the scenes couldn't do it after attempting it three times (would of been selfish if he had, right?). Taker is coming up on his 49th birthday this March, a month before Mania (yes, 49 years old, he's not actually dead guys).
While that may seem ''old'' to some of you, it's really not that old. We've seen many performers wrestle well into their 60's even 70's. BUT, the Deadman's body tells a different story. Taker was one to travel & wrestle as a top performer for many years. In the last couple years we've seen a big, BIG decline in show dates for Taker. He's down to only doing big pay-per-views when he's got a good feud going on. His body could be the one ending the streak in the end. We've seen Michaels & HHH leave the squared circle in the last couple years. Two top performers who've had career ending injuries and are right around Takers age.

One thing we do know is that age and injuries don't mix very well. If Taker does lose at WM 30, will that be the end to Takers career? Could this be the Deadman's Last Ride? We will find out on April 6th...
