It was February 8th a nice night in Las Vegas to catch some Independent wrestling. We walked in the Roller Skating Rink used by Adrenaline Unleashed Pro Wrestling. We got there right at the start of the match between crowd favorite Suede Thompson vs Eccentric Lion right away the crowd interaction was amazing. There are no ropes or guard gates to keep the fan in the seats. Children running around and yelling for their star as well as booing the heels while El Maniaco our fellow TGW member was coughing his lungs, battling the flu and having an endless night of boogery but still managed to come with me to AUPW.
The matches we seen were great with what the crowd calls "flippy stuff" which basically is high flying moves. The whole night was great mostly from the wrestling but you have to give props to the crowd. I seen women with young newborn babies yelling and cheering while kids ran around excited off every move. There was one fan that can with a boom box and signs he began every chant through out the night. At times he was a bit too much . We stayed until the very end and watched all the wrestler come back out and interact and take photos. Once the crowd left more work was needed to be done. All the wrestlers in their everyday clothes helped dismantle the ring as well as the the wrestlers entrance stage. Others picked up chairs and began to clean. A real awesome site to see all these men and women paying their dues as they say. Main event of the night had Tommy Misfit defend his Vegas Championship against Peter Avalon and they had a great match. Peter Avalon came up with the win and the title. This Peter Avalon guy is a great heel, we hope to see more from him.
